Cameron T31 Fully Welded Ball Valve

CAMERON® Fully Welded Ball Valves satisfy ANSI 150 through 2500 and API 2000 through 10000 standards. Made of forged steel to assure uniform fine grain structure and toughness, they may be specified in sizes from 2" to 56".

The distinctive design of the CAMERON® Fully Welded Ball Valve gives it maximum strength at minimum weight as well as maximum resistance both to pipeline pressures and stresses. The compact, spherical design also eliminates body flanges, thus reducing overall size and leak paths.

Body Construction

  • The body is made of three forged parts and the bolted construction allows disassembly on-site for inspections and possible repairs.
  • A body drain is located in the lowest part of the body cavity and consists of a ¼" NPT drain valve with safety plug.
  • Graphite rings are provided to guarantee full compliance with API 6FA and BS 6755 Part 2 Fire Safe Standards.

 

NUTRON®

- The Model T3 body seal o-rings are placed ahead of the bodycap threads to protect the threads from the flow media

- Threaded and bolted design allows for combinations of end connections on the T3 and B3

- The NUTRON® Model TT is available with flanged and butt; welded connections (Combinations available)

- The Model TM Metal Seated Trunnion Mounted Ball Valve can be used in heavy oil, high temperature steam and abrasive slurry applications.

Materials

Carbon steel, stainless steel, duplex SS, high-nickel alloys and other special materials are used as service conditions require. External protective coatings are available for added durability in corrosive environments.

RING-O®

Subsea production and pipeline transmission is considered a critical service application for valves because of the high pressures, extreme temperatures and remote location of the equipment. Cameron has more than 25 year experience in subsea valve technology and today offers a range of sizes and pressures qualified to meet the demanding requirements of subsea applications

RING-O®in Production: As oil and gas production projects continue to push into deeper waters, valves designed and destined for this application must show a proven history of operational integrity and excellence. Since 1999, when Cameron established a leadership position in the Deep Star Study, there has been an on-going demand for Cameron’s RING-O® ball valves for this critical service application

Subsea Design Features

RING-O® Subsea valve design is similar to equivalent upside valves, but has additional features to withstand the external pressure caused by the column of seawater at operating depths.

RING-O® Subsea Valves typically have a design life equal to the design life of the pipeline. This can be up to 40 years, and valves placed in this type of service must be maintenance free for that lifetime. This is the most important design feature of Ring-O Subsea Valves.

Engineered for heavy duty, maintenance- free performance and manufactured in a variety of body and seal materials, the DynaSeal 370D4 is commonly selected for many specialized applications

WKM® Model 370D4 2 thru 6X4

WKM® DynaSeal 370D4 ball valve offers all the required features andoptions demanded for gas distribution, gas transmission, oilfield production, and industrial applications. Standard (or optional) features include provisions for secondary seat sealant or stem sealant injection. These valves are designed in accordance with ANSI B16.34 and are manufactured in accordance with API 6D and API 6FA requirements.

Body Construction

  • The body-bonnet design is of bolted construction and its sizing complies with requirements given in ASME VIII Div. 1.
  • The bolted construction allows disassembly in-line for inspections and possible repairs.
  • Clearing the bonnet off the valve allows free access to the ball and the seats which can simultaneously be taken out without the need for any special maintenance tools.
  • After maintenance, the valve being of standard DPE design, tightness of the seating surfaces can be assessed by pressurizing the body cavity only, before any re-pressurization of the pipeline.
  • A body drain is provided in the lowest part of the body cavity and features a NPT drain valve with a safety plug.
